Rick Girling has an BA from UC Berkeley and an MPhil in Economics from Queens University Belfast. After a rewarding career teaching economics and world history for 30 years at Galileo and Lowell High Schools in San Francisco, Rick dedicated his time to working for public banking. Recently he was elected as Vice Chair of the CPBA. In addition to advocating for public banking, Rick is a strong supporter of safe streets for cyclists and pedestrians. He also joins immigrant rights and pro-democracy campaigns in opposition to the fascist and corporate takeover of the Federal Government.
